William's Bio

William Allen is a retired Information Technology executive who has been writing about and in support of Highly Sensitive men since 2016. He is the primary blogger for The Sensitive Man blog. He is the author of two books, Confessions of a Sensitive Man, An Unconventional Defense of Sensitive Men, and On Being a Sensitive, Success Strategies for Harnessing Your High Sensing Nature. In addition, he has appeared on numerous podcasts sharing about the HSP trait.

 

He is the owner of BrainPilots, LLC specializing in Hypno-coaching and neurofeedback brain training. William has a BA in Psychology, is a certified hypnotist, and an Advanced Certification in Neuroptimal Brain Training (neurofeedback). He has been a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback.

As a mentor and advocate for highly sensitive males, he feels that HSP men and boys need to take their keen insights and intuition and make them public. He would like to shed more light on the role that highly sensitive males can play in the world as thought leaders and role models for all men.
