Do you ever find yourself feeling emotionally overwhelmed or struggling to manage strong emotions?
As a Highly Sensitive Person you’re likely to experience strong and intense emotions, which, on the less positive side of the spectrum, can include: anxiety, stress, fear, guilt or even anger.
Sometimes we can feel overwhelmed or flooded by our emotional experience and as a HSP I have been through this many times in the past.
This is why I regularly use and teach mindfulness techniques to combat emotional overwhelm and find greater emotional balance for HSP.
In this workshop I will share a 6-step method for dealing with difficult emotions as they arise. We use the breath and mindfulness to work with the energy of the emotion.
Learning techniques to manage our emotions is important because otherwise these overwhelming emotions start to build up over time, and I have experienced that this only leads to emotional burnout and manifests as physical pain/illness.
This technique is quick and easy and can be applied in any situation at home or at work and will help you to manage even the most difficult of emotions.
